Overview

Claremont Graduate University (CGU), like many other academic institutions worldwide, depends on PeopleSoft for its reliable features and popularity among their staff. However, the lack of built-in Single Sign-On (SSO) support in PeopleSoft resulted in users needing separate passwords for their Microsoft Entra ID accounts (Microsoft 365 accounts), leading to an increased number of help-desk tickets and a suboptimal user experience. Additionally, the institution aimed to improve their system’s security by means of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) implementation.
